Position Summary

Are you a natural-born sales hunter? A business creator? A dynamic outbound marketer who wants to use the best tools to make a serious bottom-line contribution?

As an Outbound Sales Development Representative with Genius Companies, you will be responsible for leveraging outbound best practices and technology to identify, contact, and advance potential customer opportunities.

Your day will be a mix of generating new business opportunities across multiple business entities and managing and supporting current leads through the sales pipeline. You will work with both the sales and marketing teams to drive business, run experiments, launch products, and develop a repeatable, scalable sales machine.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, a knowledge of email and social media sales, professional phone skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven track record of success. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company, leveraging outbound campaign strategies – particularly email and LinkedIn
  • Contact and qualify potential customers
  • Set appointments and follow up on leads
  • Track progress towards meeting sales goals
  • Support current pipeline opportunities
  • Collaborate with the revenue team to develop strategies for opening new markets and launching new products
  • Use Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
    • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
  • Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management
  • Be creative, brave and push the envelope.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales or customer service
    Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and outbound marketing strategies
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
  • Salesforce and Hubspot certifications are a plus
  • Digital experience with presales tools, competitive analysis tools and metrics a big plus
  • Friendly team-player who can roll with the punches and adapt on the fly is a must

Compensation

Salary Range: $23-26/Hr. plus commission/ bonus structure TBD
